Welcome to the PETEX Technical Programme 2008.
You are invited to submit your abstract online under one of the following
initial categories:

Exploration
-
Seismic
technology
-
Non-seismic
technology/Integrated technologies
-
North
Sea case
histories
-
Other
case histories
-
Reservoir
Monitoring and Management
-
Other
(the Technical Committee will decide on the category)
With
the future in mind, the programme will illustrate the latest advances in
seismic exploration, integrated technologies, reservoir monitoring &
management and field case histories.
Timetable
Top
Short Abstracts
must be submitted online by 14th March 2008. An initial
step in abstract submission is to register your intention to submit a paper
following which you will receive a password and a unique identifier for your
paper. Once registered, you can enter your short abstract, up to a maximum of 500
words. No figures are required at this stage. It is recommended that you
cut and paste your abstract from a word document rather than type the abstract
in the space provided.
The Technical Committee
will finalise the program and intend to notify authors of accepted papers w/c
14th April 2008.
PETEX 2008 is
committed to raising standards and in line with this PETEX 2008 wishes to
supply conference attendees with extended abstracts for each paper
presented. Authors of accepted papers will be required to submit an Extended
Abstract including figures by 17th July 2008 to the PESGB
Office. Extended abstracts should be submitted in Microsoft Word format
between 1000 and 2000 words plus figures. Full details will be made available
when the paper is accepted.
Copyright of
extended abstracts will remain with the author.
